What is the song from Episode 1110 Imaginationland?

To save my inbox from an immanent collapse I am going to ask the question here in hopes that someone knows the answer!

Q: What is the song from the end of Episode 1110 Imaginationland?

You can Download (13793) an MP3 of the audio, and I will happily hand out a RapidShare Premium Account to the first person to find the answer! Answers as comments only please.

I have a funny feeling that the audio was more than likely done in-house, but if it is an excerpt from somewhere else I would love to know the answer too!

Luke says:

Is it not off the Rambo: First Blood soundtrack?

19 October 2007, 13:27

Oggy says:

It’s a refference from first Rambo Movie – First Blood, so music could likely be from the same movie.

19 October 2007, 13:31

Branko says:

Is it from Burne suprimacy ?

19 October 2007, 13:31

Roby says:

Nope, neither Bourne’s Supremacy or First blood soundtrack …

19 October 2007, 14:30

itchi says:

Well, as Mage have said, it does sound like the first song from the “The Shooter” (main theme) but slightly “remixed” for the episode maybe. He also mentions the wording is similar to the above mentioned film, I haven’t seen the movie so somebody else could compare maybe? Anyway, you have the shooter soundtrack on amazon so compare the two:-)

Sounds like the beginning to Crazy Town’s Butterfly…

19 October 2007, 22:24

Morphy says:

Come on, someone has to know this song. Enough with the stupid answers. Butterfly, really? Annoying.

19 October 2007, 23:14

Vampire says:

Ill go with what Bdog suggested. That (24 – Bierko song) sounds pretty similar to the SP clip to me, good find man. All the other suggestions sound rather way off.

19 October 2007, 23:38

Sweet says:

it is Bierko Entering The Gas Company…from the 24 soundtrack

20 October 2007, 00:44

A few years back on this website www.ytmnd.com there was a mystery song. They only had a sound bite and the reward was only $20, but after a couple days of thousands of people searching they found the song. I think OP should post this on ytmnd.com and make it the new mystery song with the reward offer.

20 October 2007, 01:43

Jeremy says:

The song at the end of imaginationland is the same as the battle in Episode 6 (season 10 also) – D-Yikes.
I believe the song is from the movie 300 as that is what the fight is based on in 6.

20 October 2007, 10:03

Johanssen says:

Yup Bdog is right…

20 October 2007, 10:09

John says:

I had the same feeling about Bierko Entering the Gas Company. It’s from the 24 Season 4 + 5 soundtrack by Sean Callery. The start sounds like it, but it changes as the credits come up to a more ‘rock-based’ theme which isn’t on the track.

Here’s the track uploaded to sendspace – http://www.sendspace.com/file/jjxfsb – Keep the link to yourself guys if you could.

20 October 2007, 13:46

John says:

Sorry, this is the correct link – http://www.sendspace.com/file/9a87p7

It definately does sound similar, it was the first thing that came to my mind. I’m surprised people picked up on it though, as I didn’t expect many to have heard the soundtracks to 24, despite their brilliance :)

20 October 2007, 13:57

Elias says:

It’s a bit similar to the song of the last episode in season 3 of battlestar galactica, but not the same.

20 October 2007, 15:39

All south park music is done by DVDA, who also happen to be the writers of the show.

20 October 2007, 20:32

Mark says:

20 October 2007, 20:47

John says:

He/She doesn’t mean the ‘just my imagination song’, they mean the rock song that plays as Cartman talks and into the start of the credits. Are you guys stupid?

20 October 2007, 21:17

Kilpatie says:

without a doubt its the bierko song this lil contest is over

20 October 2007, 22:08

It looks like Bierko Entering The Gas Company but Its not the perfect match,
It could be a remake of the song but its not the same song for sure.

21 October 2007, 00:23

21 October 2007, 01:04

21 October 2007, 06:47

Mark says:

Listen, IT IS NOT THE IMAGINATION SONG…God…if people would actually download the song instead of making these comments…it would help a lot… Now it looks like its the Bierko Entering The Gas Company song to me…though theres a very small difference I still think they got it from that

21 October 2007, 12:41

TenaciousK says:

Charles, down with the sickness is not an original song for south park. it’s been out since before i hit puberty!

22 October 2007, 02:51

Kilpatie says:

Its Beirko song ppl it sounds a bit different but southpark can’t just use an exact version of a song they have to chnage it slightly or pay for rights. anyways i think we shouldn’t even bother with any more entrie sunless to have a link to download the song your suggesting

22 October 2007, 02:52

Robo says:

I think the song from Imaginationland is The Cranberries – Just My Imagination from the Bury The Hatchet album

22 October 2007, 03:20

Boxcars says:

I thought the music at the end sounded like it came from the Transformers movie soundtrack, dont know if thats it but thats what it made me think of.

22 October 2007, 06:18

Kilpatie says:

Have you heard “just my imagination” from the cranberries? that is nothing like clip which there is a link for before adding comments for this. It is nothing like it, i even tested The Temptations version of “just my imagination” its the Beirko song from 24. Maybe 24 copied it from somewhere else. I just watche dtransformers too similar but not as similar as Beirko in fact Beirko is almost identical except for the pitch of some of the sounds

22 October 2007, 07:36

Echrei says:

The guitar doesn’t remotely get to the level of intensity in Bierko as it does in South Park. Too bad there isn’t enough of the song without the voice for my phone to ID it.

22 October 2007, 08:50

beast says:

For the last time just my imagination from the cranberries has nothing to do with it. we are talking about the song that plays while cartman is talking and plays through into the credits

22 October 2007, 09:40

Himbo says:

I am positive this song was used in a trailer for some action movie, which leads me to believe that it wasn’t DVDA.

22 October 2007, 14:50

the answer is Bierko Entering The Gas Company

NeonKnight says:

This is the Song

Bierko Entering The Gas Company

yes it is just google it on you tube trust me it is the right song
it is the song so Thats the end off that i new it was from 24 partly because the way cartman was in the truck it looked like jack from 24 so i guess they thought why not use the music as well so there you have it !!!!!

22 October 2007, 16:21

T-Kay says:

I KNOW WHAT SONG IT IS!
IT’S Aaja Nachle – The Chase Begins.
I have it on my mp3 player. :P

22 October 2007, 19:42

T-Kay says:

And yes, it’s from the 24 Soundtrack.

22 October 2007, 19:44

Charles says:

So, T-Kay, upload this song on the Rapidshare or something :)

22 October 2007, 20:04

hedehodo says:

it certainly is not Bierko Entering the Gas Company. The part while cartman is saying “before this is over you will suck my balls” is totally different. Isnt anyone round here friends of matt stone or something. just ask them. Or send a mail for gods sake.

22 October 2007, 20:32

Shawn Clark says:

T-Kay got it right!!!!

It’s Aaja Nachle – The Chase Begins!!!!

Pluck that in youtube and it’s there. Awesome man!

22 October 2007, 21:01

Karl says:

so should i feel really stupid for actually searchin for aaja nachle?! just punjabi music can’t find the chase begins either

22 October 2007, 21:05

Shawn Clark says:

it says its based on Bierko Entering the Gas Company or something like that

22 October 2007, 21:09

waz says:

Ok. lets put an end to this. It IS Bierko Entering The Gas Company from 24 Soundtrack. Aaja Nachle – The Chase Begins uses the song above so its the same thing! Obviously the ppl at South Park aren’t gonna want to pay copyright to use the song in their episode. So obviously then “remixed” enough to get past that problem but leave it similar so ppl who are fans of 24 will have heard it and understood why it was placed there etc.

Why can’t everyone just get Bierko Entering The Gas Company and be happy with it!? Its not that different jeez.

22 October 2007, 21:43

Bdog says:

Thank you Shawn Clark but read the whole thing…

“Aaja Nachle – The Chase Begins”
(An Invitation to the Dance of Death)
is the first of an installment of clips following a chase between two individuals. This chase begins at a construction site located in Burnaby, B.C., Canada. The music used for this chase is entitled “Bierko Entering The Gas Company.” It is from the 24 soundtrack and composed by Sean Callery.

22 October 2007, 21:50

Shawn says:

yeah, but i dont think its Bierko Entering The Gas Company. i downloaded that song and it was completely different

22 October 2007, 22:23

dUmAsS says:

yeah man its not Bierko Entering The Gas Company, its similar for sure, but definately not it. I can play the song on the guitar and it doesnt seem to be that hard, so maybe trey and matt just played it for the episode.

22 October 2007, 22:46

24spaceback says:

yeah i went on limewire and searched up “the chase begins by aaja nachle” and i jut got these random arabic artists by Don and none of them were right. also wen i went to youtube i got the same results and they were all like piano crap
ideas?

22 October 2007, 23:40

CynicalMournings says:

Yes it’s a remix of Bierko … bit too different though, I would really like to get my hands on the remix they did, it’s far more rock and less suspense driven than the original that was used in 24. Also just as a kudos, / brilliant / goddamn monologue by Cartman over the top of it, can’t stop listening to it.

23 October 2007, 11:44

meaw says:

im sure i heard this 1 in a zombi movie like 28 Week Later or somthin els :S

23 October 2007, 12:51

Nikhil says:

if my memory serves me right this was actually an production music used in trailers; before even sean callery used it in 24……theers this production music website > http://www.extrememusic.com/….. they usually have almost the more popular production music…(used in the trailers and promos)…may be they’ll know……….

23 October 2007, 13:01

Adam West says:

this is just bierko’s song remixed…

23 October 2007, 19:04

The music used for this chase is entitled “Bierko Entering The Gas Company.” It is from the 24 soundtrack and composed by Sean Callery. For the most part, this video was an exercise of editing while shooting with just one camera.

24 October 2007, 10:14

sgt.ASS says:

meaw’s right, even the author of the YouTube video says the music in that video is Bierko Entering The Gas Company.
Not hard to just read comments.

24 October 2007, 10:51

Echrei says:

Based on the fact that no one has found the actual song, I’m starting to think that it was custom made for South Park.

24 October 2007, 11:05

PakiRock says:

the “aaja nachle….” is some stupid punjabi indian thing…and i agree wth sgt.ass…. they do say that its the 24 song…. Sp music guys must have ripped from the bierko theme and adapted into the ending song…..period.

24 October 2007, 11:40

The Kid says:

It is definitely NOT a remix of the 24 song, but it could be a cover version, the interpretation of the sounds is much more intense (and way lovelier)

24 October 2007, 12:18

bandeg says:

Its most probably an inhouse version of that 24 soundtrack.
Does anyone have a copy of the episode where is doesn’t cut out before the credits end? I dont know who encoded this one, but to interupt it before the music ends seems pretty dumb.

24 October 2007, 12:23

Charles says:

“Echrei says:

Exactly

24 October 2007, 20:28

jewfro says:

it sounds like Paul Simon – Kodachrome to me. the beginnings are nearly identical. also, the lyrics in the beginning are almost the same as cartman’s. i win

24 October 2007, 21:09

Sluggerb says:

the aaja nachle song is the Exact same song as Bierko Entering The Gas Company from 24. The song from the cartman clip is a remake of the ORIGINAL Bierko Entering The Gas Company song using more metal sounding guitar. I hope Bdog got his premium account already.

25 October 2007, 01:35

If I remember correctly, it was used for a Crank.

27 October 2007, 00:27

After hearing it, i’m pretty sure it’s Sean Callery, Bierko entering the gas company.

Remember the episode Stanleys Cup? they did an Eminem ‘Lose Yourself’ remix, altering it a bit. They did the same thing with this song to avoid copyright issues.
