This Week on South Park 1203 Major Boobage
This week on an all new episode of South Park, Wednesday at 10PM on Comedy Central Major Boobage.
In a South Park homage to the 1981 film, “Heavy Metal”, the boys are trying to get Kenny off the latest drug craze that’s captured the junior high and under set.

unfortunately, south park becomes less funny. i enjoyed the first episode of season 12 but the one with britney… total disappointment. i tend to believe that south park reached its climax at the 8th and 9th seasons… it’s on a slippery slope now i’m afraid.
PS: i wish i had comedy central in romania, too. mtv dumped the show years ago – retards.

The Britney episode was crap, Stan and Kyle are becoming as annoying as Lisa in the Simpsons. Ah well, I’m still a big Southpark fan, Cartman is still funny, he used to be hilarious. How about another episode where they rip the pissed out of the former British Empire. How about an episode about the ‘hero’ prince harry, with 100 bodyguards around him when out in Afghanistan?

I think this episode’s gonna be cool, it’s something me and my friends could relate to easily and Kenny is always badass, so I’m hoping for wednesday to come before I know it!
Oh yeah, and by the way everyone, notice that Southparkx started providing itunes and amazon links at the same time that southparkstudios started releasing the full episodes on their website.
(It would be nice though, if Southparkx would provide the link to that instead of the buyable ones, or at least all three links. But meh.)

I don’t know if it will work out of country or not, but mrtwig.net has every episode available for download for free, and the Britney’s New Look episode was up VERY soon after it ended.
They have episodes in Real Media and .avi formats, and if you want previous seasons you can download it as a full season instead of doing each individual episode.

Just an FYI for anyone interested in the music from this episode:
Don Felder — Heavy Metal (Takin’ a Ride) plays on Kenny’s first trip when he’s in Cartman’s house, and Gerald Broflovski’s trip.
Sammy Hagar — Heavy Metal plays when Kenny’s tripping in his own house and skipping school, and the end credits.
Some song plays during the fight in the Breastiarie in Nipoopolus (spelling?) but I can’t make out any lyrics because of talking over it.

YES! While not exactly a ‘hilarious’ episode (understand it takes a quite lot to make me belt out in laughter and so laughter never can be the means by which I personally judge an episode) in contrast with my favorites, a very redeeming and entertaining one for this season which has been for the most part disappointing. Trey certainly is back on track and I hope this is the beginning of a returning trend. Here we got to see the most important aspects of a rich South Park episode, perhaps mostly the multiple perspectives and individual stories which in particular were Kenny; Gerald; the Boys and Cartman. Without it the episode would have been ‘flat’ like its predecessors. Also, the Heavy Metal parody was a particularly good choice being in the spirit of the better parodies such as seen in Fun with Weapons and Make Love not Warcraft. Of course, a good episode wouldn’t be complete without a valid moral message and to top it all off we received a fun ending which I couldn’t help but grin over. Anyway, I felt very satisfied after watching this and hope that the same winning elements are applied to future episodes.

great to see kenny back in a big way and not just background scenery
did anybody notice the joust homage in the duel with the way the birds walked
also really funny about cartman not seeing the parrallel between whats happening with the cats and the way the jews hid in the holocaust
for a change cartman shows some compassion
also the moment kenny starts cheesing i was like whoa heavy metal rip off scene i think i must be one of the few ppl in my age range to get most of the stuff thats in theese eps
