This Week on South Park 1202 Britney's New Look
Stan and Kyle have to get Britney Spears to the North Pole in an all new episode of South Park this Wednesday at 10PM on Comedy Central.
When the boys help Britney Spears get to the North Pole, they discover the shocking secret behind her popularity. Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park, Colorado when the boys have a run-in with her. Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney’s celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes.

The references to human sacrifice (as well as all the horror movie references) was creative and funny as hell. Especially when hillary uses the term Spear Chucker at Obama. This episode was quite dissapointing, it started off ok but began to get boring, the only funny part was the camel toe bit. Although the previous episode was not very good i prefered it from this one. I Hope that the rest of the episodes in the series have better stories and are more funnier, and i would love to see Darth Chef return in ths series.

I loved this episode, and thought it was very on point and had a very important message.

I liked this one better than the last one. Overall I think it was a pretty good episode, but it felt like they were preaching to us at some point. And while I understand their point, I personally like watching celebrities destroy themselves lol. Why should I feel bad for her? She has made millions and she could easily leave showbiz and soon be forgotten, but that not what she wants is it? But hat said, the paparazzi are the scum of the earth and really need to get a real job.

I actually loved this episode because it was loosely based on the story “The Lottery” which was one story that stuck with me after reading it. We read it in school. It had the same point and even a modified version of the ending :) instead of rocks stoning Britney, they were using their cameras. Sacrifice for the harvest… Also, the end that was creepy, was merely showing that, even though the kids knew it was wrong, it was Tradition and they were mysteriously drawn to repeating it. Amazing. I really liked that this one, you kinda had to be more intellectual to understand it. Instead of just a drunken frat boy or whatever.

To what the song was: I thought it was the ‘kratos fight song’ from god of war, but then my boyfriend pointed out that it was the ‘sephiroth’ theme fighting song from Final Fantasy seven, and I think he might be right. Although it does say kratos in the song… thats my guess. And it was a good episode, a little bit dark, but it had a message and did manage to be funny, not just pointless toilet humor that you get with some ‘other’ popular cartoons. Atleast it inspires conversation.
