South Park X Site Idea Competition
There are a few great new features coming to South Park X in the coming weeks, but we thought a little competition might be a good idea and plus, who doesn’t like wining prizes?
What We Want
What we want are your ideas for what feature you would most like to see next at South Park X! For example, would you like to have:
- User Submitted Content
- a Forum, or
- Members Only Area
Note: Votes for more Episode Downloads, better Download Servers or anything related will be quickly thrown out!

Well I suppose this should have a forum, it’s a must in my opinion (it’s something I’ve never noticed that this site doesn’t have one). Then that should do it too for user submitted stuff and members-only area.

It would be funny for all ppl here come with ideeas for a new eisode. One with other characters or make us charcaters in a episode:)) we can record our voices and put them thogather. We can make a little south parkX episode. I think that would be a funny thing. I don’t have an ideea of how to actually make the characters move and stuff…. but anyways i think its funny. The constuctoin paper thing is kind of hard to make and lots of time spent. I tried it :D an i screwd up.

Well i think it needs to have a search bar :D. Since people are looking for their episode or a certain ring tone or some kind of other Multimedia related file. And i think a navigation would be nice my the little one at top to make it easy to get were you are kinda like on a forum.(Lol a ot of idea’s have been taken i just came up with this :P)

How about a merchandise section where user submitted artwork can be reproduced on products for all of us? I don’t know the financial factors off hand that would need to be considerred, but SouthParkX merchandise would be a great way to get everyone involved as well as get the name out!

Well, Ive been browsing this site since some time now…. I think it should have a welcome greeting…something in the voice of cartman…. i.e. there should be a list of phrases which are in cartman’s voice and every time a user goes on to the home page it should pipe up and give a new phrase… Also customisation is good…. User Accessible Site Areas…. And merchandise definetly will be the best course for advertisement for this site. Who won’t want to buy a SouthParkX T-shirt. Some competitions will be cool…Another thing I wanted to see here would be posters…. Somethings we can print and hang on our walls….

Well, first of all southparkx SHOULD have forum!
After that, it should have next to the DONATE button a new button like HOST OUR EPISODES and someone can host it on own server, or host it on another server like megaupload or something and for every download from your host the poster gets 1 point for example and that points can be used for example every month or two the person with most points gets premium rapidshare acc :) cheers ill come with another ideas

It wud be really cool u could have the newest episode on it for a day before putting it on the usual website.

My idea is similar to someone’s mentioned above.
The other week, I was actually contemplating contacting the site operators to see if they’d set up “discussion” on certain topics; episodes, characters, etc. Essentially, I guess it would boil down to simply having a forum, but I think something that would generate a bit more interest would be to have two weekly discussions, where you can post comments under such as I am doing for this thing right now.
Your first topic would be a discussion topic about the epidode—love it, hate it, funny phrases, thoughts on how well the spoof represents the issue it’s making fun of, or whatever the case may be.
The second would be a bit more random—things like: “who is the best secondary character and why”, “who would you most relate yourself to”, “best quote of all time”, etc.
(So pretty much, it’s not a forum, just two topics that people can comment under. Makes it easier than registering and I believe uses up less hosting space for the operator)

Ok so first of all. IRC chat. If there is one I would like to know it lol. Anyways on to my real idea. So Im sure at least one person on here has played Kings of Chaos. My idea is South Park : Playground Combat. So on to the “armies.” Cartman, He wants to be hitler and tortures his troops. they go insane and are willing to “sacrifice” them selves. Attack Bonus. Kenny. Spy bonus cause no one suspects the poor kid. Kyle. Hes a Jew. Income bonus LOL. Stan … can’t think of a reason but he get the defence bonus. A lot of jokes could be thrown in here. Just an idea. Could bring a lot of attention to this site. All the names and stuff could be changed just the first things that came to my head…. but Kyle definatly get the income bonus LOL. Well Thats it :)

-member area where it will be similar to how demonoid takes it

- Forum – So the community can stay in touch with eachother
- Member area were members can share there own compilations of different episodes together (AMV’s), post episodes, fan work etc.
- To encourage people to post fanwork etc. there must come options:
Member with 15 points – you unlock the season 1 episode section
Member with 40 points – you unlock special skins
But then with other options to unlock :)
These things will make southparkx.net better community were members can stay good in touch with each other

I’m with the forum idea. And the other idea where you guys put a button for us to click on and we can post our own uploads of the episode. And everytime someone downloads from you, you get a point. Then whoever has the most points in a fixed period of time wins something. :D

Have an area where people can share their own graphics and animations that they have done which have a South Park theme to them.
Or,
A points system which could coincide with a forum. If you have a certain amount of posts, then you can access different areas of the forum which have bonus features.

My suggestions of possible improvements are as following:
1. South park references in other movies/films (downloadable abstracts)
2. References and subjects of mocking in aired episodes
3. Guesses for the plot of the next episodes
4. Suggestions & ideas for the next episodes (to be aggregated and delivered to Matt Stone & Trey Parker — we are a fan community, eh?)
5. Alternative soundtracks & subs – for non english fans (spread the word!)
and that’s about all thats pops into the head/

I think the forum idea is a great idea; however, I do think it will need to be focused so that it’s manageable. Sometimes forums tend to get big and often get stale when there are too many discussion boards.
The merchandise section where users submit their own artwork is an interesting idea, but I’m not sure how many out there have the talents to submit cool artwork (me not being one of them) that people want to buy. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting idea that could turn out great if executed properly.
I’ll put in my vote on the 2 ideas above. :)

I think everybody’s missing the point. People do not necessarily come to South Park X to hang out and find other media besides episode downloads. Those are extras that should not be focused on excessively. They like to come here because of the simplicity of this site and its availability of episode downloads. I’m not saying that a forum is not a bad idea, but we need to think about how this will all work out. To an average person, a forum is nothing. Fan-submitted art is sadly nothing. It is not their priorities.
Let me give you some suggestions:
1. A more professional-looking, cool site. Spice it up with Flash and more of an extensive use of Photoshop. Give this site a cool, original look that will make people say: “Wow, South Park X looks really, really good!”
2. More simplicity… I looked at this site and I though it was very, very simple. But why not add more simplicity so that even a child can access what he/she wants? Get rid of things like ICQ skins or Winamp skins.
3. As for the interactiveness like forums and fan-submitted art, I believe that it won’t be a wild success.
Overall, keep it simple, maybe even more, and make it more beautiful.

i think that the site should contain a split up forum, one for user art (flash animations, drawings etc) one that has episode discussion (opinions on episodes, episode ideas) and another off topic forum, for any chat!
also the site should have a shoutbox for people who want to say something, but not register to the forums. and also for the offline links there should be an alternative link added (e.g. a link to the episode on youtube or dailymotion)

I would really like to see a forum in Southpark X but in it you must include a topic about “Ideas for a new Southpark episode” and “What was not working in the episode No. xxxx”.
Another good idea is to create an online game for the members of this website which you are going to be able to download for free and the players get go around the town of southpark, meet with other people who are online and go through different adventures.

i think maybe using a upload site other than rapidshare would be useful for those who want to download more than 1 episode. anoyying thing about rapidshare is that you gotta wait like 45+ minutes after downloading an episode before you can download another 1. a upload server i really prefer is www.megaupload.com. it has fast download speeds and something like 500mb download limit.

1. CONTESTS: ( A win/win situation)
I think there should be then contests on the messageboards.
They can be judged on either member votes or admin but they could be like:
Who can make the best South Park Desktop Theme(based on last season) etc..
Contests like these will start up good debates and competitiveness on the new forum and aswell add great multimedia to the site.
The prizes for winning don’t have to be anything like RS accounts, but
could even be a status based thing on the messageboards with maybe some extra privaleges.
More features:
2. What’s Kenny Saying , have a feature where someone listens to Kennys lines in the new episodes (very little) and works out what he says as sometimes it is too hard to work out. Just a nice little feature for people to say “Oh yeah, that is what he’s saying”
3. Member Polls (e.g Best Episode Ever)
From watching Paramount Comedy UK do a top ten South Park episodes, I was annoyed that my favourite episodes weren’t getting near the top and felt that this was because the people voting are not necessarily big South Park fans who vote for maybe only the episodes they’ve seen.
It would be nice to do a poll, maybe a season by season one of the best episodes (to drag it out a little) for example
101 v 102, 103 v 104….until one is left from season 1.
do same for rest of seasons and have a Winning Episode at the end of it.
If this is unfair then a system of “name you’re favourite 10 episodes” might work. Again just to see what people think.
Maybe someone might be able to put up a HD quality download for the winning episode (might be a bit farfetched but…)
And other things then in discussion forums like
give you’re ideas on what they should do an episode on and vote for the best to give to Matt and Trey to consider doing an episode on,(Although very very unlikely…it would be a good debate again)
I think these ideas if Implemented would make SPX by far the greatest SP site, and with a good messageboard as the basis to build a community of South Park lovers, they’re could be endless creative contests and debates.

apart from that,
Link exhange portal (which can b a part of the forum itself)
i.e. you should hav a list of all links available for the newly arrived episode since a lot of people share it on http, which is realtime updated as whether the links go 404 or new ones come up.
Of cors people will come to your site and tell u their link etc.

I think a great creation for the site would be a text to speech utility where you type in words and press “talk” for it to come out as a south park characters voice (probably Cartman).
This would be hard, and if done would need to have a feature where in a
sentence you can order it to be said in a high pitched Cartman voice, Angry Cartman voice or Polite Cartman…just to make it better.
I know it’s alot of work, but if this site had a feature like this it would top everything.
Also to add to my very first idea about the contests, a contest could also be for best flash game or whatever, that would add great SP games and multimedia for people to play on the site.

Well, SouthparkX is great as it is, cuz i only use it for downloading the newest episode, but if you could add some more features like, SP Games, and a forum, and you have probaly seen all this if you scroll up. A unique thing would be if SouthparkX got a like Sponsor membership like on www.Rosterteeth.com. Where you buy that membership to get some extras, that non sponser members cant get. The Sponsor membership is like the donating, except that there will be some extra features with it. This wil maybe also help to get alot more to sponsor/donate you, with this method. This will mean that you will maybe earn alot more than you do :)

Hello, i would like to thank you for this opportunity you give us in order to improve south park X (which is actually perfect) but since you want some fresh staff lets see what we can figure out. It seems that the forum idea is the overall request but seriously now you need moderators and Admins to run it otherwise it will be a chaos also forums are really common, a lot of web sites have them so its not unique to make south parkx a special site. I would suggest a chatroom that opens for a short period of time about half day which will open when a new episode of south park is aired and people can discuss it and say about things they would lik to see or things that looked stubit. So that each of us can give personal opinions and advice the producers of south park (because 11th season is not so good as the other seasons). Another thing is that south park x could allow us to have personalized accounts with a lot of info about each of us mostly relating to south park and most important, let us design south park characters that can look like us by changing clothes, eyes, face features, etc etc (other sites have this but i’m talking about a professional place with a lot of customizations). I dont mind some ads, but the ads on this site are very abnoxious.
I think the whole site needs to be re designed, the menu seams to list every scrap bit of info arround. The other SP sites are much more organised.

Definitely a forum, but i think it would be cool that in your forum account u had an area that showed all the south park episodes and u check off the ones you have seen and rate them. Allowing u to keep track of the ones u have seen, and see how others rated each episode, on episodes not checked u r able to click on the episode and go straight to the download area. This would help new south park addicts to see which ones r the highest rated and work from there. Fan Art and other stuff like that takes away the simplicity of the website and adds unneeded clutter (imo), this site is rly all about sharing, downloading, and discussing specific south park episodes.

Ok, here is the next feature southpark X should have. A soundboard of the characters voices and then people can submit their prank calls in. The best prank call for each main character of south park gets some sort of prize. So it’s basically a contest to see who can pull off the bet prank call on an innocent citizen with the voices of south park. I know I would do it to my grandmother… I’d def win! - An online SP community where fans can create profiles, host their own cardboard characters / movies, shout out about their favourite character/ episodes/ guest star(!)/ quotes, discuss their preferances in forums etc. – Online multi-player gaming with the player’s choice of SP character. SP-like interaction between characters, game rooms where the players can generate improvisational episodes with their characters (maybe even with voices!) – An SP wiki with elaborate information on episodes (scripts, characters, the works), character sketches, interviews with the developers etc.

Personally i like those discussions of the episodes/characters and stuff ideas… however, my sugestion is that you recruit people from different countries and have them translate the site to other languages.. this site is great so why not bring all southpark fans together, even those who cant read/speak english well?
