Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Yeah it was. My mate tim was last night slating SP for not being as funny as it used to be. Whilst watching this I realised how much he (and you) can go get fucked.
Go me – swearing and everything.

the specials episode always sucks. I didn’t see it yet, but I bet it’s true

beefcake says:
WHAT! How about Korn’s Groovy Halloween Pirate Ghost Mystery, The Helen Keller Thanksgiving, Woodland Critter Christmas, Red Sleigh Down, or the first SP Christmas? Are you telling me those suck?

HailSatan says:
Woodland Critter Christmas rocked xD

some sunofabitch says:
I don’t know why I even read these dumb posts. They are always the same: it sucked; no it didn’t; fuck you; south parks not funny; yes it is; the old episodes were better; etc. etc. Seriously, if South Park wasn’t a good show, why would you be commenting here on a SP Web site? And why do you watch? Sure, the old episodes were classic, but the new episodes are mostly pretty good… mostly. Screw you guys, I’m gonna go watch the new episode again.

Orc says:
Sonaofabitch, I agree with you. Except for that last episode. It was lame. Hella lame. The lamest episode of SP ever made.

Cappy says:
I believe that comedy central has been continuously restricting their exploits nowadays. This wasnt so bad and annoying or irritating compared to javokasaur.

The Diebels says:
Douches, it was a freakin funny episode. Of course, not compared to My super best friends, Succubus, Scott Tenorman must die and Trapped in the Closet. Those episodes were even above god. So why do you make fun of Matt and Trey? They are like gods. Do you betray on your gods?
I must say Matt and Trey become more predictable as the seasons continue. They’re using Cartman most of the times as a crime solver on political issues and using a lot of simple humor like asses, farts and vaginas. That’s ok and still freakin’ funny, but it’s not very new to me. It’s vertually impossible to do good episodes of a comedy that has been there for so many years. But they still come up with funny shit that keeps me laughing every thursday!
Hail to Matt and Trey

chriss says:
yea it was a kewl episode since Jesus was in it, I acctually laught when kyle said “it think the bunny just crapped on my jacket”.
So why didnt you guys like it? it was original so I loved it. the only ting i miss is that kenny never die and the buss stop senes.
and the best episodes ever is “scott tenorman must die”“CHristian hard rock-” and many more, this episode are also going in my top 20 SP episodes, the best yet in season 11.

The Easter Special is one of their best. It’s a smart episode that pokes fun of a major Book and motion picture (no spoilers there). Watch and laugh.

HW says:
Quite disappointed. Not as good as the last 4 episodes.
6 April 2007, 11:40
Alejandro says:
You people are retards. You’re probably too young to get the references. I thought the episode was hilarious. I mean there was a Krull reference for christ’s sake! This episode was genius. Tying in Peter Rabbit with St. Peter and the Da Vinci Code, all while coming up with a Latin version of Peter Cottontail AND ripping on Bill Donahue in the same freaking episode! If you don’t see the genius, you are dumb and shouldn’t have an opinion. Go watch Jeff Foxworthy or something.

Orc says:
Dude, so what? If a show depends on his viewers to be erudites to the last one, its clearly not a show anymore. I admit this episode draw an important philosophical conclusion from the history of christianity. But SP is not about making such conclusions, FFS. SP is about laughing, not thinking. At least it used to be :(
6 April 2007, 13:59
Vent says:
I’m an evangelical Christian and I thought the episode was pretty freakin funny! If you guys get so worked up about not liking the new episodes, go download seasons one and two and sit in a cave and watch them. Stop being such a bratty snob.
6 April 2007, 14:37
chriss says:
True! as they said on “cartoon wars” that they are going up their own ass whit messages.
but SP is still fun!!!
6 April 2007, 14:39
CaliforniaTwist says:
What? Erudites? Philosophical conclusions? Man, it doesn’t take to be an erudite to know what they are laughing at, you just have to be not a complete american idiot) If laughing excludes thinking for you, go watch mr. Bin, it’s a show for you. Smart jokes are funnier than dumb jokes. If you can’t get smart jokes – watch dumb shows, SP is not dumb.
6 April 2007, 15:25
Orc says:
Well, maybe you should go watch Discovery and laugh at it. I agree that smart humour is better than dumb one – and when I’m criticizing the last episode, I do not say it’s jokes are smart and therefore boring. I’m saying that there were almost no jokes compared to other episodes. And yes, laughing excludes thinking if “thinking” means you must watch all the lame movies SP is ripping on, The Da Vinci Code being first among them, and think: “Just what are they ripping on now?”

tttommeke says:
Cool episode, funny story ! And their is a point in this episode, don’t listen to the pope, listen to what you think is wright.
6 April 2007, 18:00
The Diebels says:
I get your point Orc. But when caracters have gone through everything its almost impossible to be original in any way. When you look at older episodes there are less references to movies and corporations what so ever. With the new technology available they can rip-off company’s, reliefs and movies with such ease that it’s almost TOO easy! I sure hope that Matt and Trey concentrate more on the caracters itself instead of making fun of movies and corporations in almost EVERY EPISODE!

Holy shizzle, guys…This episode was pretty awesome, I don’t understand why people wouldn’t like it, it’s a typical South Park episode with Matt and Trey’s awesome humour.

This episode was pretty good … not as good as the Lice episode tho that one was hiliarious lmao and I agree Korns Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery and Woodland Critter Christmas were so funny ….

v-man says:
u ppl don’t know wat ur talking about. I admit some of SP specials haven’t been “top dog” ones that we all enjoy, but this one as well has Christmas in Canada, Red Sleigh down, and Woodland Critter Christmas have been great. Id give this episode four stars out of five.
8 April 2007, 19:43
J-Dog says:
yea, woodland critter christmas was fuckin insane

kingrex says:
It was a decent episode. And season 11 has been relatively good so far. The whole Da Vinci rip and tying the bunny to Jesus was class. Last weeks 24 rip was funny. Using headlice to reference the environment was decent (the ending was class though). The mocking of Jesus camp was hilarious with Butters and the opening episode was class.
The Manson Christmas and Korn’s episode stunk but Christmas in Canada was hilarious, so were Woodland Critters, and for regular episdoes Mormons, Fat-butt and Pancake Head, Pip, Fingerbang are classics.

I thought the episode was pretty funny, not as funny as snuke in the snizz, and way funnier than the lice episode, I just didn’t find it that funny. Eitherway we should all enjoy it since we dont have much SP left ahead of us. I think the 12 season will be their last.

I have a life says:
I believe that 90% of you can’t spell and need a life. Those of you who think SP is not as good as it used to be should have lost all hope and stopped watching it by now. I agree, sit in a cave watching your old favorites. You shouldn’t even be wasting your time writing on the subject. Don’t watch it anymore. You want my opinion? You’ll get it anyway. Those guys struggle every week to put out deep, creative and funny episodes. What can you do? Maybe they aren’t consistant, but that’s life.

Wes says:
Ok, people here who say they we’re disapointed are flamed by people who think it was funny. Like “some sunofabitch” said, if it is not a good show why are you here… I don’t really agree with that. I found this episode really bad, I mean, I love this show and it is great, but they are running out of ideas. Matt and Trey for some reason feel the NEED to make episodes based off of TV Shows, Games, and other current events. I think they should just stop doing that, because it is becoming over used. This episode was incredibley predictable, I feel like I’ve seen it already in another season, haha. “I have a life”, you get mad how people don’t like the new episodes, but its true, they are getting worse. Love the show, but they need to pick it up a bit.

Fundumontelist says:
Hehe, at first I also thought: “Not another spoof following the patented South Park Spoof Recipe™”
But then things suddenly took totally crazy turns (spoilers ahead) and the “double cross” was pure genius. Because it was very realistic in a metaphorical sense. The Vatican is very helpless against American’s distorted views about Catholicism. In the past, fundamentalism has usually been tolerated by the Church and that has to stop. This episode nicely points out why.
Also, Jesus is the best! “I’m removing you from your position… XD”
I think South Park could use a few new running gags though. And Cartman is becoming too predictable. Thinking back to “Scott Tenorman must die” I think the character has lost the ‘evil depth’ that used to make it so unique. Today it’s just a regular boring asshole. But no one is perfect. But I absolutely think that South Park after all these years is still getting better and better and if you say they are running out of ideas, then maybe you just see the primitive jokes on the surface. There’s only so many ways to kill Kenny, metaphorically speaking.
11 April 2007, 15:34
Yamen says:
this is the smartest comment yet Fundumontelist..i totaly agree with u exept for 1 thing cartman never been predictable or boring we all know that he is evil and have absolutely filthy mouth but u will never can gusse what is his next plan or words ..and he is always ending up surprising me somehow ,no matter how much i know about him i still laugh lika a retard when he says something funney and with fear to blow a funney fuse lol, however i think they should use butters more often he have the unique chracter i have ever seen.
P.S: They stopped killing kenny and more (metaphorically speaking) ,maybe they run out of ideas for him didn’t think of that ?
